Normally, I am not one for poetry but Genie is so honest with her work you have no choice but to enjoy it. In her short collection she reminds you of what it feels like to be human. She reminds you of the first time you fell in love, the last time you travelled, and makes you hungry for more. I cannot recommend her work enough. Prepare to have your heart touched!
